Working together

Service terms.

Last updated: 23 July 2026

About these terms

These terms provide a general overview of how Braelum works. Each paid engagement is also governed by an accepted proposal, statement of work or service agreement. If those documents conflict with this page, the signed or accepted agreement takes priority.

Quotes and payment

Quotes are based on the scope known when issued and remain valid for the period stated in the proposal. Project work may require a non-refundable booking payment. Monthly services are payable in advance unless agreed otherwise. Third-party costs and work outside scope may be charged separately with approval.

Client responsibilities

Clients must provide timely feedback, accurate information, required access and content they have the right to use. Delays in receiving these items may move delivery dates. The client remains responsible for reviewing and approving final content, legal claims, prices and regulatory information.

Monthly plans and tweaks

A small frontend tweak is a limited change to existing text, images, spacing, colours or presentation that does not require a new page, redesign, custom feature or substantial content production. Requests may be grouped and scheduled within the plan’s response window. Unused monthly allowances do not roll over unless agreed in writing.

Content and intellectual property

Clients retain ownership of materials they supply. Once all related invoices are paid, the client receives the usage or ownership rights described in the proposal for final deliverables. Braelum retains its pre-existing tools, reusable code, methods and know-how. Third-party assets remain subject to their own licences.

Hosting and third parties

Domains, hosting, plugins, platforms and other third-party services are governed by their providers’ terms and availability. Braelum will use reasonable care when managing these services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or changes made by a provider.

Cancellations and liability

Cancellation periods, minimum commitments and refunds are set out in the relevant proposal or agreement. Either party may end services for a serious unresolved breach. To the extent permitted by law, Braelum is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits or failures caused by client materials or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Questions and governing law

Contact braelumltd@gmail.com with questions or complaints. Unless a service agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
